We'll make our home inside the walls, and venture beyond them, using movement, breath, and sound to find our own thresholds.

Marrakech is a city of thresholds — ancient gates set into towering walls, each one marking a shift from one world into the next. Step through, and the noise of the souks gives way to hidden courtyards, fountains, and quiet gardens. Beyond the medina, the land itself holds its own thresholds: the rolling red dunes of the Agafay desert to the south, the snow-capped Atlas Mountains rising to the east — two vast, ancient landscapes framing the city from either side.

The Oasis

Tucked inside the walls of Marrakech's Medina, The Oasis is one half of a wonderful, traditional riad — full of plants, colorful patterns, and cozy Moroccan corners, connected by rooftop terraces to its sister building next door.

  • A central courtyard opens up into a courtyard plunge pool for refreshing dips throughout our stay, ringed with shaded seating and lounge areas built for slow afternoons between sessions

  • The rooftop terrace stretches out with hammocks, cushioned nooks, and open sky — the setting for evening practice as the light changes over the Medina's rooftops

  • Every room carries its own character, with high ceilings, colorful tile work, and handcrafted textiles throughout. For the week, all seven rooms of The Oasis are ours alone.

What to expect

Daily Practice

Each day moves at two paces. Mornings open with vinyasa — a dynamic, breath-led flow to wake the body, often practiced on the rooftop or in the riad's courtyard as the day begins. Evenings slow things down: restorative postures, longer holds, and meditation to unwind whatever the day gathered.

Nourishing Meals

All meals are included throughout your stay — breakfast, lunch, and dinner, each a 3-course menu with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Meals here aren't an afterthought to the retreat; they're part of the experience, prepared with the same care as everything else on the schedule.

Pools & Downtime

Not every hour needs a plan. The riad's courtyard plunge pool is there for lounging, journaling, or simply doing nothing between sessions — a quiet counterpoint to the excursions and a reminder that rest is part of the retreat, not a break from it.

Rooms & Pricing

Every guest receives the same retreat: all classes and sound baths, seven nights' accommodation, three meals daily, and the full food and beverage package. The only difference in price is how many people share a room.

Atlas Mountains

The Atlas Mountains rise dramatically along Morocco's spine. There's something grounding about their presence, a reminder of deep time and resilience, that makes them a natural backdrop for reflection and reconnecting with something larger than yourself—the perfect complement to the internal work we're doing on the mats.

Agafay

The Red Desert. Just a short drive from Marrakech, the Agafay desert unfolds in rolling red-stone dunes — a landscape that feels lunar, silent, and vast. This is where our "Gates of Sand" theme comes fully to life: movement and meditation set against an open horizon, with the option to stay for sunset as the desert changes color.

Spa & Welness

Time built in for hammam, massage, and traditional Moroccan spa rituals — a chance to let the body rest as deeply as the mind. Details on treatments and booking will be shared closer to the retreat, as availability depends on the spa's schedul

Booking & Payment

I want this to be accessible and clear for everyone, so here's how it works.

Direct Payment
To keep costs lower for everyone, payments are accepted via Zelle, Venmo, or check — this avoids third-party booking sites and credit card fees. Stripe (credit card) is available on request, but the buyer covers the processing fee. Invoices created on request.

Payment Schedule
$900 non-refundable deposit due at registration
Second payment due by Jan 15
Remaining balance due by March 1

If signing up close to a payment deadline, or you need an adjusted payment schedule, reach out directly to arrange it.

Refunds
If your space can be filled by another guest, you'll receive a full refund minus the deposit.

If you cancel before future payments are made, you're not obligated to pay the remainder. You'll receive a refund for what you've paid (minus the deposit) only when your spot is filled.

Refunds are issued only after payment from the replacement guest is received — no exceptions.

The closer to the retreat date you cancel, the higher the chance your spot may be sold at a discounted rate.

If you are excused from the retreat due to behavior or other issues deeming your stay not conducive to the sanctity and safety of the retreat container, there is no refund, and you are in charge of any additional costs removing you from the retreat and property, and any additional costs to get you home or another destination.

If you choose to leave the retreat early of your own accord, any additional fees or transportation arrangements are also at your own cost.
